Terms of service
Version 1.5 · Effective date: October 13, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Flownauts website at flownauts.com (the “website”), any game published by Flownauts LLC on the Apple App Store or Google Play (the “games”), or a Flownauts account (together, the “services”), you agree to be bound by these terms of service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Flownauts LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”), a limited liability company formed in the State of Wyoming, United States. Our contact details are in section 18.
Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in. Where a sentence below would do that, it does not apply to you.
2. Description of Services
The website provides information about Flownauts LLC and its games, and is where you can create and manage a Flownauts account. The games are puzzle and casual games for phones and tablets, made for a general audience. They play without an account, store your progress on your device, and are supported by advertising.
Merchandise. Our shop at shop.flownauts.com sells Flownauts merchandise. Section 6 explains who sells it and which terms apply.
A Flownauts account is optional. Signing in adds cloud saves, leaderboards and a profile across the games that support it; section 3 covers it. Everything else works whether or not you have one, and nothing in a game requires you to sign in to play.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play the games on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and the usage rules of the app store you obtained them from. Section 5 explains what that license means for the things you pay for or earn.
Apple and Google. These Terms are between you and Flownauts LLC only, not Apple or Google. We, not Apple or Google, are responsible for the games, for supporting them and for any claim about them, including product liability, consumer protection and intellectual property claims. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the games. If a game fails to conform to a warranty that applies to it, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of that game, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation for the games. Where these Terms conflict with Apple’s or Google’s standard terms for the matters they cover, those store terms take precedence. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
We improve and change the services over time. Section 9 explains how we handle changes that take something away and what we promise if we ever end a game or an online feature.
3. Your Flownauts Account
Creating one. You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher age that applies where you live, to have a Flownauts account. Flownauts manages sign-in using a one-time code sent to your email address, a sign-in link on the website, or an Apple or Google credential; we do not use account passwords. Keep your device and your sign-in secure, and tell us if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
It is personal to you. Your account is for you alone. You may not sell, buy, trade, rent, lend or give away an account, share it with someone else, or let someone else play on it to raise your standing. Any attempt to transfer an account has no effect. We may close an account that has been sold or shared.
Your display name. We generate a display name for you, and you may change it. Display names are visible to other players wherever you take part in a shared feature, so before you choose one you are asked to accept these Terms. A display name must not:
- impersonate another person, another player or us, or suggest an association with us that you do not have;
- harass, threaten, bully or demean anyone;
- express hatred of, or encourage violence or discrimination against, people because of their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or any similar characteristic;
- be sexual, obscene or vulgar, or refer to the sexualization or abuse of children;
- promote illegal drugs, weapons, self-harm, gambling or other illegal activity;
- contain personal information about anyone, including you, such as an address or phone number;
- advertise anything, or contain a link or contact handle.
We may change or remove a display name that breaks these rules, and we will tell you when we do. Repeated or serious breaches may lead to suspension under the paragraph below.
Your data. What we store for an account, who receives it and how long we keep it is set out in our privacy policy. From your account settings you can change your display name, disconnect a game, sign devices out, download a copy of everything we hold about you, and delete your account.
Deleting it. You may delete your account at any time, in a game or on the website. Deletion takes effect immediately and finishes in the background; we give you a receipt that lets you change your mind for 30 days, after which it cannot be undone. The privacy policy lists the little we keep after that and why. Section 5 explains what deletion means for things you have paid for or earned. Progress saved on your device is not affected by deleting your account, and you can carry on playing without one.
Inactive accounts. We may delete an account that has not been signed in to for 180 days and has no active membership. Deleting an inactive account has the same effect as deleting it yourself (see section 5), and we owe no compensation for it. Signing in on any game or on the website keeps your account active.
Suspension and closure. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents us. You can reply to that message to ask us to look again, and we will. You may not create another account to evade a suspension.
4. Leaderboards and Other Players
Taking part in a leaderboard is something you choose. When you do, your display name and the entries you submit are visible to the other players you are ranked against.
Entries are checked on our servers. We may refuse, remove or correct an entry we cannot verify, or one obtained by modifying a game, automating play, or using more than one account. Doing any of those may also cost you your place on a board or your account. Nothing that affects your standing on a leaderboard is for sale.
You can block another player, which hides their entries and display name from you, and you can report a player or a display name to us from the game. We review every report, act on those we agree with, and may change a display name, remove entries or suspend an account as a result. If you cannot reach a control in the game or on the site, write to hello@flownauts.com.
5. What You Own and What You Don’t
A license, not ownership. When you pay for something in the services, or earn it by playing, what you get is a license to use it within the services under these Terms. It is not ownership of a copy of the game, of the item or of any data. This is true even where a store’s button or our own screens say “buy” or “purchase”. The license can end only in the situations this section describes. Where a store’s terms give you more, those terms apply.
What we do not sell. We do not sell virtual currency, and we do not sell random items or chances at them. Every price is shown in real money. Rewards you earn by playing, including any with a random element, cost nothing, and we show you what they can contain before you open them.
Nothing you get in the services has a cash value, can be exchanged for money, or can be sold, traded or transferred to another person, inside or outside the services.
How long each thing lasts:
| What you have | Where it is held | If your account is deleted | If your account is suspended or closed for a breach | If we end the game or feature |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Remove Ads and other one-time purchases (unlocks, content packs) | Your Apple or Google account. Restore them on a new device with Restore purchases in the game. | Not affected: they stay with your store account. | Not affected, unless the purchase itself was fraudulent or reversed. | Not taken away from a game you have installed; see section 9. |
| FlowPass or another membership | Your store account, linked to your Flownauts account. | Not canceled automatically: cancel it through your store, or it keeps renewing. | Not canceled automatically. We do not refund a membership for a period in which your account was closed for a breach, except where the law requires it. | Renewals stop; see section 9. |
| Items that come with a membership (for example FlowPass avatars, themes and content) | Your Flownauts account, for as long as the membership is active. | Lost. | Unavailable while the account is suspended. | Covered by the membership terms above. |
| Items you earn by playing (for example avatars and themes) | Your Flownauts account. | Lost after the 30-day window to change your mind, including when an inactive account is deleted. | Unavailable while suspended, and lost if the account is closed. | Kept for as long as the profile feature runs; see section 9. |
| Cloud saves | Your Flownauts account. | Deleted after the 30-day window. | Unavailable while suspended. | You can download them before they go; see section 9. |
| Progress on your device | Your device. | Not affected. | Not affected. | Not affected while the game remains installed. |
| Leaderboard standing | Our servers. | Removed. | May be removed. | Ends with the leaderboard. |
If a membership lapses, items that came with it stop being available until you renew; anything you earned or bought separately stays. The cloud saves a membership covered are held for twelve months after it lapses so that nothing is lost if you come back.
6. Purchases and Memberships
Where you pay. Purchases made inside the native games, including memberships, use the Apple App Store or Google Play under that store’s terms and payment processing, at the price shown there including applicable taxes. The store is the seller of record; we are responsible for what the purchase unlocks.
FlowPass in our web store. Monthly FlowPass can also be purchased through Fourthwall’s hosted checkout, under Fourthwall’s terms of service and privacy policy. Checkout shows the local price, taxes, billing period and renewal terms before payment. Use an email verified on your existing FlowAccount. We verify the paid membership with Fourthwall and assign game access to that account; this does not create an account or sign you in. Fourthwall billing and FlowAccount game access have separate logins. Use Fourthwall’s membership portal for renewal management and receipts, its receipt or support route for billing and refunds, and Flownauts support for game-access help. Canceling renewal keeps access through the verified paid period. Separate permanent purchases stay yours.
Memberships. Before you subscribe we show you the price, the billing period, what the membership includes, how it renews and how to cancel, and the terms of any free trial, including when it turns into a paid membership. A membership renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You cancel through the subscription settings of the store you subscribed with; your account settings in the game link to them. Canceling stops the next renewal; you keep the membership until the end of the period you have paid for. If the price of a membership changes, the store tells you before the new price applies, and where the store requires it, you must agree to the new price before you are charged it.
Refunds. Refunds are first a matter for the store you paid:
- On Google Play, you can request a refund from Google within 48 hours of purchase.
- On the App Store, you can request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- At any other time, or if a store turns you down, write to hello@flownauts.com. We will look at every request, and refund or put things right where something you paid for did not work as described or where the law requires it.
If a store refunds or reverses a purchase, the feature it unlocked is withdrawn.
Your right to withdraw (EU, UK and similar). If you live where the law gives you a right to withdraw from an online purchase, that right applies. For one-time purchases that unlock something immediately, the store asks you to agree to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw once it is delivered. For memberships, you may withdraw within 14 days of subscribing, and we may deduct an amount for the part of the period you have already had. The store you paid processes withdrawals; write to us if it does not.
Prices. We may offer or withdraw purchases and change prices for future purchases. Purchases you have already made are not affected by later price changes.
Merchandise. Merchandise in our shop is sold, printed and shipped by Fourthwall, Inc., which is the seller of record. When you buy it, you buy it from Fourthwall under Fourthwall’s terms of service and privacy policy, which are linked in the shop and at checkout and cover payment, taxes, shipping, returns and refunds. Prices are shown in the shop and at checkout. Questions about an order go to Fourthwall’s support. These Terms cover your use of the shop website. The designs on our merchandise belong to us (section 8); buying an item does not give you a right to reproduce them.
7. Advertising
Free versions of our games may show advertisements served by third-party advertising networks, currently Google AdMob. Advertisers, not Flownauts LLC, are responsible for the content of their ads and for any products or services they promote. Our privacy policy explains what information is used to show ads and how to limit it. You agree not to use automated means to generate ad impressions or clicks. We may change how often and where ads appear, but we will not show ads to anyone who has Remove Ads or an active membership in that game.
8. Intellectual Property
All content in the services — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, designs, puzzles, page layout, and software — is the property of Flownauts LLC or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any content from the services without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use as permitted by these Terms. You may share screenshots and recordings of your own play.
You keep any rights you have in the display name you choose. You give us permission to show it to other players and to use it within the services for as long as it is on your account.
9. Changes to the Games and Ending a Game
Changes. We update the games to fix problems, add things and keep them working on new devices. We may change or remove a feature for a valid reason: a change in law or a store’s rules, security, a third-party service we rely on ending, or the feature no longer being used or sustainable. If a change would take away, or significantly reduce, something you have paid for, we will tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect, in the game and by email if you have an account. If you live in the EU, the UK or another country whose law lets you cancel when digital content or a service is changed to your disadvantage, you keep that right.
Ending a game or an online feature. We may stop running a game, a membership or an online feature such as cloud saves or leaderboards. If we do:
- Notice. We will give at least 30 days’ notice in the affected games, on flownauts.com and by email to account holders, unless the law, a store or a security problem forces us to act sooner. In that case we will tell you as soon as we can.
- Installed games. Ending online services does not remove a game already on your device. Parts of it that do not need our servers may keep working, but we will no longer update it, and it may stop working with future versions of your device’s operating system.
- Memberships. We stop taking new memberships and turn off renewals. Purchases and memberships are not refunded when a game or feature ends, except where the law requires it.
- Your data. You can download your cloud saves and the rest of your data from your account settings throughout the notice period.
If a game is removed from a store, you can usually still reinstall it from your purchase history, but that is decided by the store.
10. User Conduct
When using our services, you agree not to:
- Use the services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the services, their servers, or any systems or networks connected to them.
- Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or similar technologies to access, collect, or extract content from the services without our express written permission.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, modify or create cheats for the games, tamper with purchases or entitlements, or interfere with the delivery or measurement of advertising.
- Submit a leaderboard entry you did not earn by playing, or use more than one account to gain an advantage.
- Sell, buy, trade or share accounts, or offer to do so.
- Choose a display name that breaks section 3, or harass, threaten or abuse other players.
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the services, their servers, or networks.
- Impersonate Flownauts LLC, any of its representatives, or another player.
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code to the services.
11. Third-Party Services and Links
Our services rely on and may link to third-party services, including the Apple App Store, Google Play, Google AdMob, social media platforms, and other external resources. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and their availability is outside our control. You must also follow any third-party terms that apply when you use the games, such as your mobile carrier’s or your store’s.
We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
12. Disclaimers
We will provide the services with reasonable care and skill, and they will match the descriptions we give of them. Beyond that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the services are offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis, and Flownauts LLC disclaims all other warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that advertisements will be suitable for every audience.
Cloud saves are a convenience for moving between your own devices. They are not a backup service, and you should not rely on them as your only copy of anything you would mind losing.
If you live in the EU, the UK or another country whose law gives you guarantees for digital content and services that cannot be excluded, such as the right to have faulty digital content repaired, replaced or refunded, this section does not limit those guarantees.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Flownauts LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the services, including loss of game progress or other data, loss of revenue, or loss of business opportunity.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for all claims arising from or related to the services shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the services in the twelve months before the claim and fifty US dollars (US$50).
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer. If you live in the EU or UK, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill, and the paragraphs above do not apply to that loss.
14. Indemnification
If you use the services in a way that breaks the law or these Terms, or you infringe someone else’s rights through the services, and a third party brings a claim against Flownauts LLC because of it, you agree to compensate us for the reasonable losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that we incur as a result. This section does not apply to you to the extent that the consumer law of the country you live in does not allow it.
15. Export Controls and Sanctions
You confirm that you are not located in a country that is subject to a United States Government embargo or that the United States Government has designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with applicable export and sanctions laws when you use the services.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Wyoming, except as the next paragraph allows.
Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, including any right to bring a claim in your local courts, or in a small claims court where you live. Where that law conflicts with this section, that law applies.
We do not require arbitration, and we do not ask you to give up joining a class or representative action. Before going to court, please write to hello@flownauts.com; most problems can be fixed quickly that way.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Each version has a version number and an effective date, and we keep earlier versions available for reference.
- Significant changes, meaning changes that reduce your rights or add to your obligations, are announced in the games and on the website at least 30 days before they take effect, and by email if you have an account. We ask you to accept the new version in the app or on the site, and we record which version you accepted and when. If you do not accept it, you may stop using the services, cancel any membership through your store, and delete your account.
- Other changes, such as corrections, clearer wording or changes made to describe a new feature, take effect on the effective date shown.
